Who we are

We are plant breeders, innovators, and partners. Our identity is rooted in genetic excellence, forward-thinking solutions, and a commitment to supporting our customers from seed to success. Learn more about who we are and what we stand for.

For over 100 years, we have been pioneers and artisans in the art of breeding Cyclamen persicum. Since our founding in France by Pierre Morel in 1919, passion and quality have been at the heart of everything we do. What started as a family business dedicated to cyclamen has flourished into a leading floriculture breeder, with over 350 F1 hybrid cyclamen varieties ranging from mini to large-flowered plants and seeds exported to 40 countries and distributed to more than 70 countries.

Since 2022, when Morel was acquired by the french family business investment fund called EVOLEM, we have embarked on a strategy of external growth by acquiring new species like Helleborus and botanical cyclamens. This allows us to strengthen our approach as a passionate and responsible creator of varieties while taking a practical approach to innovation developing plants that are more tolerant to extreme climatic conditions and more economical in their production cycle.

Committed to research, breeding, development, production, sales, and marketing, we supply seed distributors and young plant growers while actively collaborating with all industry players.
